April to June is usually pretty chilled in the Appy Books office. There are the March BAS to complete, but it is usually when we have time to think and start planning for the craziness of EOFY. However, next week is going to be huge. I am pretty excited to share that I have volunteered to be a mentor at the Buy Queensland Roadshow to be held at Brisbane City Hall on Thursday 27th April 2023. I could not be more thrilled to be a part of such an amazing event, and I cannot wait to share my knowledge and experience with all the attendees.
The Buy Queensland Roadshow is an annual event that brings together local businesses, government agencies, and other stakeholders to showcase the best of Queensland's products and services. It is a fantastic opportunity for businesses to connect with potential customers and learn about the latest trends and innovations in their industry. And this year, there is the added benefit of having the Mentoring 4 Growth team on site for free small businesses mentoring sessions.
As one of the many mentors at the event, I will have the chance to meet with business owners and entrepreneurs and share my insights on how to succeed in the digital age. I will be providing practical insights into all things bookkeeping, cloud accounting and small business financials. I will be sharing tips and tricks to help businesses stand out and succeed in today’s tough business environment. Imagine of a brain dump of all my experience rolled into one conversation!
I am really looking forward to meeting all the attendees and hearing about their experiences and challenges. Everyone has something valuable to share, and I am excited to learn from them as well. One of the things I love about events like the Buy Queensland Roadshow is the sense of community and collaboration that they create. It is always inspiring to see people coming together to support and encourage one another.
